Cyril Ravilly, Founding Partner,
He worked for 5 years in corporate consulting at Lazard Frères & Cie, then spent 5 years as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for the Thales Group, in charge of overseeing all the Group's M&A operations. For 5 years, he managed structures in the international naval services sector at Thales, then at DCNS, where he headed DCN Log for 2 years (350 employees, €120m sales). He then moved to DCNS Group's Strategy Department, where he worked as a project manager for the Chairman.
Since 2010, he has been working within his own structure for both large and small accounts. During his career, he has been involved in over a hundred M&A transactions, from initiation to completion. Cyril Ravilly is currently Managing Partner of Financière Cincinnatus and Fincin Conseil.
Cyril also taught for 5 years at Sciences Po Paris, where he was a lecturer on mergers and acquisitions for the DESS (post-graduate diploma) in corporate finance. He was also Founding President of the 3T Alumni Association (www.3Talumni.net), the association of former active employees of Thomson Group components (Thales, Technicolor, etc.).
He is an auditor for a national session of the IHEDN (ESM #2) and in 2016 wrote a reference work on tennis tactics (Les fondamentaux tactiques) published by Editions Amphora.
Philip Vivier, Senior Advisor
Philip worked for 11 years in corporate advisory services at Lazard Frères & Cie, then spent 5 years as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, in charge of overseeing all M&A transactions in France for French and foreign clients, as well as covering French-based investment funds.
Since 2012, he has worked on a freelance basis for both major accounts and smaller structures in the infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors. He currently advises the family office of GFG Alliance, a global player in steel, aluminum and energy.
Over the course of his career, he has carried out over a hundred M&A transactions in a wide variety of areas (solicited and hostile takeovers, disposals, spin-offs, mergers), as well as a number of public company capitalizations, debt restructurings and court-appointed takeovers.
For 6 years, Philip was a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, specializing in financial analysis and valuation, as well as in-depth M&A. For 5 years, he was a lecturer at the HEC business school, teaching public offerings in France and corporate and LBO debt restructuring.
In the aerospace and defense sector, Philip has been involved in a dozen deals (Thales, Airbus, EADS, Photonis, CNIM). He recently advised Industry on the takeover of SMFI Tarbes (December 2019) and Eolane on the sale of its MCO business in Les Ulis to Hemeria (July 2020).
Alexandre Chenuil, M&A Analyst
Alexandre is a student in Skema Business School's Grande Ecole program. He joined the program following a preparatory class. After an internship at Preligens, he had the opportunity to discover the banking sector at BRED Banque Populaire as a credit analyst. He is also involved in the development of Mind2Shake, an innovation consultancy for SMEs in the defense sector.
Keen to contribute to the development of the Aerospace & Defense industry in France, Alexandre wishes to pursue his career in the defense ecosystem, capitalizing on his financial expertise.
